Joel Weiman
My adolescent passion for golf, and for all things design, led me to Cornell University’s renowned landscape architecture program to prepare for a career in golf course design.
From there, I led McDonald & Sons’ golf course design/build program for a quarter century. This experience provides me with a terrific advantage for melding practical yet dynamic design solutions... after all, nothing can provide greater professional experience than controlling hundreds of design, budgeting, scheduling, and construction processes.
I formed Weiman Golf Design in 2023 to concentrate my abilities on the more creative aspects of golf course design and consulting. My firm cherishes the opportunity and responsibility of crafting unique golf as we build strong relationships across our industry. We are truly fortunate.
Cole Baldwin
Cole Baldwin joined Weiman Golf Design as a Design Associate in 2024 following his in-the-field construction experience. Cole’s Virginia Tech civil engineering education, his love for the game of golf, and his first-hand understanding of high-level play augments his design abilities.
Cole is involved with all facets of design development and project management.
