Cole Baldwin

We are excited to have Cole Baldwin, Design Associate, join the Weiman Golf Design Team. Cole is a Virginia Tech civil engineering graduate with golf course construction experience. Cole will be contributing to all stages of design development and project management.

He and Sarah share a great love for our game of golf... despite playing near scratch, Cole isn't even the most accomplished player in their relationship!

Joel Weiman

Joel’s passion for golf began in middle school and this interest soon evolved into a fascination of course architecture.

His career journey includes a landscape architecture degree from Cornell University and the respected golf course building firm McDonald & Sons. Weiman led McDonald’s highly successful design/build efforts for over a quarter century where he built a portfolio that guided over 50 clients each year.  This design/build experience gives him a tremendous advantage at developing dynamic, yet practical design solutions.

Joel established Weiman Golf Design to provide a full spectrum of design and consulting services which allows him to concentrate on collaborating more closely with clients on intriguing design commissions.

Joel is a proud member of the American Society of Golf Course Architects and is active in various trade organizations, continuing education programs for groups and universities, and junior golf.
